Robin's conker

I was intending today's picture to be a landscape as all the time the boys were at school/nursery I was out delivering leaflets in the countryside. Unfortunately I never quite managed it so it's another close-up photo instead. After school we walked to the baker's shop and a girl Robin knows from school/the childminder gave him this conker. He asked me to make it my picture of the day so here it is.
