Toby's reward for being patient while I did some deliveries was to spend a while train watching on Ha'penny Bridge. The driver of this train obligingly tooted at Toby when Toby waved at him.
During a gap between trains, Toby wandered along to the other end of the bridge and spotted a baby bird sitting in the hedge. It was brown with speckles and quite large, slightly smaller than an adult blackbird.
